Basically, we like 2 types of laser cards; our FUSION style and the LASERWELL style.
FUSION MEMBERSHIP CARDS
The FUSION style is a more cost effective product that is geared for uses where the card is used for up to a year. What we produce is a letter size sheet with up to 4 color printing on both sides. After we print, a laminate is applied to the area where the card resides (front and back). The sandwiched laminate is die cut to the shape of a credit card and then it’s ready for laser imprinting. The FUSION card is perfect for short runs (as little as 500 ) or 500,000 ( and any quantity in between ) . We have a 4 spot color press and an 8 color press. The 8 color press is capable of printing 4 color process on both sides.
LASERWELL MEMBERSHIP CARDS
The LASERWELL is one cool product! With this style, we use a 7 mil plastic card and a 60 lb. bright white sheet of laser compatible paper. Both the sheet and card can be printed with 1 color to 4 color process on both sides. We then affix the card into a debossed area on the sheet. The reason for the debossed well is to create a smooth surface for laser imaging without jams. Now that’s one cool product!! The advantage of this product is the long life of the card and the superior imaging characteristics. The LASERWELL card is perfect for situations where there is high use and where a more impressive image is needed. Minimum quantity is usually 5,000.
